I am so thankful for my Aunt Janet who took me to church at First Presbyterian Church in Memphis, TN (http://www.firstpresmemphis.org/) when I was in elementary school. That was my first exposure to God who would eventually take first place in my life. She was Janet Elizabeth Lawson, daughter of John Joseph Lawson and Rubie Alice Calhoun. She was born on Feb 15, 1922 in Jackson, Mississippi, and died Dec 3, 1983 in Memphis, Tennessee. She lived long enough to see me accept Christ as my savior as a teenager. You never know the impact that your acts of service can have on others. How will you serve Christ today?
